Dr. Yin graduated from Johns Hopkins University with an Honors degree in Biology. She completed her medical training and residency at the University of Toronto, graduating with multiple surgical and academic awards. With an interest in oculoplastic, she pursued a two-years oculoplastic and orbital oncology training at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. She has spoken internationally on topics of periocular and orbital oncology, aesthetics, and lacrimal system.Dr. Yin is actively involved in research and teaching. She trains fellows in oculoplastic surgery, ophthalmology residents, and medical students. She is also a reviewer for multiple international peer-review scientific journals, including the British Journal of Ophthalmology and the Canadian Journal of Ophthalmology.
